Horton Hears A Who..

John Clinton has officially been to his first movie. The big one-plex (yes, Kennett only has one movie theatre and it only shows one movie) had the movie Horton Hears a Who and my friend Kelly and I decided to take our boys. Kelly has a boy that is only 10 months older than John Clinton. We thought that worse comes to worse we could just get up and leave the theatre. I mean it's only $4.00 to go to the movie for me and John, so no big deal.

I can't believe how well it went, besides two trips to the bathroom and comments about the big elelphant and where did it go, he sat through the whole movie without a peep. I was so proud of him and now feel like we could surely go again.

Dyeing Eggs

Well we decided to try to dye some eggs tonight. I of course was calm, cool and collected, Matt not so much. I don't know if he was worried about there being dye spilled everywhere or what. I mean what all could go wrong when you dye eggs with a very active 2 year old. I am very proud to say that it went wonderfully. No dye was spilled and there were no eggs broken.

We hope that everyone has a wonderful and Happy Easter. Also a big thanks to Nana and Poppy for coming down this week. We sure had a lot of fun with you and thanks for the Easter basket.

Vegas Baby

Just thought we would tell Aunt and Matt thanks so much for the Vegas t-shirt. I feel so cool in the shirt. I almost feel like I was there, maybe you will have to take me with you the next time that you go. We love you both and can't wait to see you soon.

Making Poppy Proud

I think that we may have a future hockey player on our hands. I know that these pictures will make Poppy very proud. John Clinton has really taken a liking to hockey and really enjoys watching hockey games on the TV.

More snow pictures

Here is the second round of snow pictures. I couldn't help but post a few more pictures.

Snow, Snow, Snow

Well we finally got our wish. It is actually snowing in Kennett, thank goodness that the whole town hasn't started to shut down. We have more then 2 flakes and so far people are going about their business and not driving all that bad. We are suppossed to get snow into Saturday morning. We shall see what the weather brings.

John Clinton is thrilled with the snow, the wind that brought this snow to us not so much. I think that the wind is about 15-20 miles an hour and not that much fun to play in. I hope that everyone enjoys the action shot of him throwing the snowball.

St. Louis Weekend

It is always fun to go home for a weekend. This weekend we traveled to St. Louis where we stayed with Nana and Poppy. I do believe that Nana read every book 20 times to John Clinton. He did not want anyone else to read to him, not even Aunt. Aunt finally got a book in, but only after Nana had left the house. We had a great time with Amanda and Matt at trivia night on Saturday. I was teased all night that I was just there as eye candy because of course the rest of the team was trivia buffs. I ended up getting 2 1/2 questions right.(The half came from the question that I helped Uncle Matt with.) The only downfall about the weekend was that I believe that I did nothing but eat all weekend.
I am also very jealous of all the snow that St. Louis is getting today. I know, I know the St. Louis crew is tired of the snow. But us Kennett folk would just like a little of the pretty white stuff, instead of the rain and the sleet.
