BOYS!!!!
The whole time that Matthew and I were waiting to adopt we just knew that we would get a girl. They just run on both sides of the family, but yet the phone call we got said It's A Boy. Now don't take me wrong, I love John Clinton to death and I wouldn't trade him for anything. But oh my goodness, he wears me out. Take today for example, we finally make it home and as I am unlocking the door, John Clinton takes off running into the neighbors backyard(NO FENCE) and by the time I catch him he is 3 rows deep into the cotton field behind our house. He immediately gets sent to his room and goes to stand in the corner. Let's just say that he and the corner are very good friends. Now he can also be the sweetest thing in the whole world, but wow do we have our hands full.

Painting Fun
Tuesday night we took John Clinton to a Parent's as Teachers event at the old kindergarten building. He got to paint pictures, climb through some tubes, make monster toast and play with play dough. John Clinton had a blast and he loved painting the pictures at the easel. I feel like I should frame every piece of art work that he makes now. He also won a door prize and won a new book for us to read and read and read.

Clumsy
I haven't had a chance to post in the last few days, because I decided to trip at school on Friday over a doorstop(It was big and metal) and severly bruise my arm. I of course decided to put out only my right hand and try to catch myself with one arm. Needless to say that I got to have my first set of x-rays at 31 years old. Luckily no broken bones and luckily my mom and dad came down this weekend. Mom and dad were able to help with the laundry and of course with John Clinton. At least by today I am able to move my arm and can sleep comfortably. I will inform everyone that my bruise is a good 6 inches long and about 3 inches wide on my right elbow. It is also a very pretty purple, blue and green. The doctor said that I should have the bruise for a good couple months (YUCK).

Snow angel
Well if you know anything about the weather in Kennett, then you know that we never get snow. We get ice, sleet, rain and bad wind storms. So of course when it did finally snow and ice a little, the schools around us were closed and John Clinton got to play in the snow.
I was very surprised to see that all of the sudden John Clinton layed down in the snow and said "I making a snow angel". I was shocked! We had never talked about making snow angels and yet he knew what to do. He also enjoyed running around the yard chasing Mollie.
We are off
I thought this this might be a great way for our family and friends to see what kind of fun we are having with one John Clinton. I know that we have lots of family and friends that don't get to see near enough of him. I hope that you all enjoy this and that you are not disappointed in the beginning of this blog.
